Stay Active During the Holidays

The holiday season can be a fun time of year but also exhausting!  Routines often go out the window which is not always a bad thing but can certainly throw us off balance. Physical activity during the holidays may arguably be more important than at any other time during the year. Yoga and exercise can help reduce stress, prevent weight gain, help you maintain your good habits, get you off the couch, boost your energy, and even help you manage anxiety and depression.

Movement of any kind even just 10-15 minutes a day can help us to restore vitality and peace to our day.

That’s why I have designed these two, short classes which you can choose from based on your energy level. Neither require equipment, just yourself!

Energizing Couch Workout (18 min):  Work up a sweat while watching some of those holiday classics!  This class is energizing and will definitely increase your heart rate! We focus on strength and core stability using your very own couch. And don’t worry if you are a beginner, modifications are offered throughout the class.

Gentle Slow Flow (15 min): Escape the busyness of your day and bring some inner calm with a simple flowing sequence to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength and flexibility.
